Creative Developer / Tech Artist.
We at Lost Native are looking for a talented, self-driven Creative Developer to join us in showcasing our cozy-competitive debut title to the world. The game is fully funded by Private Division and is coming to PC and Console in 2024.
As a Creative Developer, youβre a programmer with an artistic eye or an artist with a technical flair. Regardless youβll be the bridge between the art and tech teams engineering the creative vision for the game.
This is a fully remote freelance role with a chance of extension.
π©π»βπ» Your responsibilities will include:
Integrating 2D and 3D assets into Unity, including but not limited to 3D models, 3D animations, and UI.
Creating particle effects based on provided concepts or references with direction from our art team.
Using C# to implement 2D or 3D assets if necessary.
Working within limitations of scope, timelines, and style.
Iterating on work based on feedback.
π As a successful candidate, you would have:
3+ years C# and Unity experience.
Experience using source control (i.e., Git).
Experience creating particle effects.
Experience with 3D animation in Unity.
Experience with UI integration in Unity.
A strong understanding of how Tween packages work (i.e., DOTween).
Responsibility and ownership over your work.
A self-starting approach to remote working and time management.
The ability to propose and implement creative solutions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A willingness to collaborate and share feedback with others.
π‘ It would be amazing if you have:
Previous experience working on a Nintendo Switch title.
Experience lightmapping environments.
Experience creating and/or editing URP-compatible shaders.
Experience optimizing assets to achieve a desired framerate.
